Sheldon K Weddle

Mr. Sheldon K. Weddle entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 15, 2019. Sheldon was a member of the Central Church of Christ of Martinez. Sheldon served his country faithfully in WWII, Navy- Okinawa Invasion. After WWII, Sheldon continued his service with 20 more years in the U.S. Army, Signal Corp and earned the rank of Master Sergeant. He served for 2 years in the Korean War and 1 year in the Vietnam War, Tet Offensive 68.

His survivors include his children, Karen Leitelt (husband- William), Stephen Weddle, Nancy Joyner (husband-Randy); grandchildren, Stephen Jr., Stacy and Alana; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 11 am, Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the service hour. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with full Military Honors.
