Rajinder Bhatia

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 11am at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Rd, Martinez, GA.

Born in India, he was the son of the late Hans Raj Bhatia and Kaushalaya Devi Bhatia. He moved to the United States in 1967. He lived in various cities before moving to Aiken in 1971. He had a Master’s Degree in Business and in Business Management. He taught at Aiken Tech from 1971 until he retired in 1995. In his spare time he enjoyed investing in real estate and working with his hands.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Brothers, Prem Bhatia, Kanwal Bhatia, and Kailash Bhatia. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Krishna Bhatia, Sons, Manoj (Cindy) Bhatia, Rajeev (Veena) Bhatia, Brothers, Saravan Bhatia, Mohan Bhatia, Sisters, Kalish Bhatia, Pushat Bhatia, Grandchildren, Vikram Bhatia, Vishal Bhatia, Aminta Bhatia, Michael Bhatia, Christina Bhatia.

Rajinder will be greatly missed by his family. We are deeply appreciative of the lessons Papa has taught each of us in his special way. He had a passion for passing on lifelong lessons to his children and grandchildren. His love for knowledge never ended. He will be missed by his family and loved always.
