Peggy Ann Deason McMillan, cherished wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and adoring friend, passed away into Heaven on August 21, 2023. Her life was a testament to her bold, unwavering love and faith in Jesus Christ, which guided her actions and shaped her relationships.
As a loving wife, Peggy exemplified the true essence of partnership and companionship. Her boundless support, kindness, and unmatched love enriched the lives of her husband and family.
A nurturing mother, Peggy poured her heart into raising her children with values of compassion, empathy, and faith. Her guidance and encouragement empowered them to face life's challenges with strength and grace.
Her role as a grandmother brought her immense joy, as she delighted in sharing her love, her time, and her wisdom with her grandchildren. Her presence was a source of comfort and inspiration to her grandchildren, leaving behind lasting values and memories.
At the core of Peggy’s life was her deep and abiding relationship with Jesus Christ. Every morning without fail, she sat at the kitchen table praying first and spending time in God’s Word. She also never let a stranger pass without telling him or her of the love of Jesus Christ. Her faith was a beacon of light that guided her every step, fostering a spirit of generosity, forgiveness, and acceptance.
Peggy’s legacy lives on through her family and the countless lives she touched. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew her, as they remember her as a loving wife, devoted mother, adoring grandmother, and sweet friend who often told and showed others how much she loved them.
Visitation for Peggy will be on Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 6 until 8 pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, GA.Funeral services to celebrate Peggy’s life will be held at 11am, Friday, August 25, 2023 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Austeen McMillan, three of her sons, Gene McMillan Jr, Mitchell McMillan, and Ricky McMillan and her great grandson, Richard Culiver, mother and father, Frank and Ruby Deason; She is survived by her son, Gary McMillan and his wife Janet McMillan. She has ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. She loved them all so so much.
