Mrs. Beasley was born to the late Luther Leroy Sr. and Ollie Chassereau in Statesboro, GA. Mrs. Beasley was a 1963 graduate of Richmond Academy and later worked as a battery filler at Sibley Mill. She also loved and adored Elvis Presley.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Beasley is preceded in death by her husband, James Ivey Beasley; and daughter, Scarlette Hobbs. Survivors include her children, Rosalyn Hobbs, Melinda Ball (Ray Jr.) and Brian Ginn (Beth); brother, Luther Chassereau Jr.; grandchildren, Derek, Wesley, Kyle, Krystine, Shiann, Destinie and Dakota; and great-grandchildren, Americus, Caitlyn, Kylie, Kyndall, Annalisa, Cadence, Danielle, Ronnie and Ryder.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 10th, 2024 at 3pm at the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Mrs. Beasley was cancer survivor, the family requests in memory of her and in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Piedmont Augusta Foundation's Breath Health Center Fund, P.O.
