Marion Kirk Johnson III, also known as “Trey” to everyone, was born in Savannah, GA and grew up in Brunswick, GA before settling down in Augusta, GA. He graduated from Brunswick High School in 1987. Trey was the best and most loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many. He was very hard working and loved sales for the interactions it brought with people. Trey was truly one of a kind with his contagious laugh, soft smile and priceless personality. Trey had a passion for golf, but jumped at any activity that brought him around others, which gave him the chance to socialize and put a smile on someone else's face. Nine times out of Ten you were laughing at him, but that’s what he wanted, to be the center of attention for all. He was dedicated to his family, friends and his relationship he grew with Christ(as well as the Georgia Bulldogs). He would never leave anyone shy of a good laugh. He was truly the life of the party with an extraordinary sense of humor that will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Trey is preceded in death by his father, Marion Kirk Johnson Jr.; maternal grandparents, Perry and Louise Rozier; paternal grandfather, Marion Kirk Johnson Sr.; and paternal grandmother, Mary Easterling Johnson. Survivors include his son, Mason Johnson; mother and step-father, Cynthia Harrell (Michael A. Harrell); sister, Marlo Johnson Key (David); love of his life, Rosemary Hawkins Johnson; step-brothers, Mark Harrell (Heather) and Barry Harrell (Heather); uncle, Bobby Gardner (Emily); niece, McKenna Key; and nephew, Dalton Key.
