Mrs. Madeline Elizabeth (Betty) Lowe, beloved wife of the late Furman Lowe, entered into rest, Saturday, September 19, 2015. Mrs. Lowe is predeceased by her parents, James Posey and Mattie Powell Goodwin and a son, Glenn Lowe.
Mrs. Lowe loved the Lord and her family; she was a Baptist and had a passion for crocheting.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2015 in the Columbia Road Chapel Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Dewain French officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons.
Mrs. Lowe is survived by her children, Jimmy Lowe (Bonnie) and Joyce Kirkland (Harvey); 5 grandchildren, Melanie Lowe, Jamie Lowe, Glenn Poole, Nicholas Kirkland and Casey Kirkland; 5 great grandchildren, Tyler Simms, Cheyenne Simms, Hunter Lowe, Garrett Poole and Makenah Fowler and one great-great grandchild, Brantley Simms.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, September 22, 2015 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
