Heaven received a beautiful spirit on Monday, February 13, 2023, as Laura Victoria Faircloth went to be with the Lord. She was born December 31, 1979, a graduate of Evans High School and former student of Augusta University.
Laura’s church affiliation was Lighthouse Tabernacle, Warrenville, S.C., where she taught children’s church and was a blessing to many. The love of her life was her daughter, Gracie. Upon reflection, we fondly remember Laura’s love of the Bible and singing, even from a child. No one could silence her, not even her big sister. We would tell Sara, “Let her be and just let her sing!” She was the apple of her parents’ eyes, giving, a quick study and enjoyed walks, eating her mom’s food and making friends.
Laura is survived by a precious daughter, Victoria Grace Faircloth, her doting father, Bruce F. Perkins, and loving mother, Susan Crowe, a protective sister, Sara Wall, maternal grandmother, Ruby Hallford, and the Faircloth family, who have always been a mainstay in Laura’s life.
“Rest in peace, our beautiful star; we will always miss that beautiful smile, quick wit and melodious laughter as you are now one with Spirit (Father).”
The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:30 pm on Friday, February 17, 2023 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Columbia Road. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, February 17, 2023 at the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home.
