Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2014 in the Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Columbia Rd. with the Rev. Tony Henderson officiating. Burial will be in the Westover Cemetery.

Mrs. Templeton was born in Screven Co. daughter to the late Charlie and Lola Strickland. She had lived in Augusta for most of her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She also was the oldest member of Asbury Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children, Robert (Christine) Templeton Jr., Grovetown; Elizabeth (Ed) Skinner, Prosperity SC.; her sisters, Bonnie Holsenbeck, Evans; Evelyn Riggs, Grovetown; her 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. till the hour of service on Saturday before the service.

Pallbearers will be, Glen Skinner, Alex Templeton, Tim Rice, Austin Templeton, Logan Kitchens, and Bill McConnell.
