She was born on February 20, 1943, in Puttlingen, Germany of the late Josef and Therese Schackmann, the youngest of nine children.
Irma worked for many years as a manager for Colonial Bakery before her retirement.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Petra Mills (Bill) and Jacki Jones (Melvin); sons, Chris Klein (Tonia) and David Taylor (Anna). She was also a beloved Oma to her grandchildren Jessica, Dylon, and Aric.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the entire staff of Southeast Hospice - especially Anjelica, Kayla and Qui Qui for their compassionate care of our beloved mother.
Visitation will. be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Saturday, March 26, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez. A memorial service will be held at 6:30pm. Friends invited.
