Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 2pm in the Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez with Dr. Buddy Holbrook officiating.
Born in Elbert County, GA, he was the son of the late Hugh William Prince and Kate Shiftlet Prince. He was a retired feed salesman from Marbut Milling. He was a member of the Alee Temple, Augusta Shrine Club, the Legion of Honor, the Augusta Shrine Club Golf Unit, and the Elks Club. George was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne Paschal Prince, daughter, Lisa Prince Smith and her husband Allen of Augusta; brother, Paul Prince, Atlanta, GA; granddaughter, Ashlyn Smith Anderson and her husband Ben.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of your choice.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home after the service. Please no visitors at the home.
