Mr. Edwin Schaffer

Mr. Edwin J. Schaffer, 89, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010 surrounded by his loving family.

Mrs. Schaffer always referred to her loving husband as her “Psalm 15 Man”. He will be sadly missed by everyone whose life he touched.

He was a member of the Colonia, New Jersey Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Schaffer is preceded in death by his son, Ronald Schaffer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Kubrock Schaffer; two sons, William “Bill” (Debbie) Schaffer and Robert “Bob” (Marjorie) Schaffer; one sister, Dorothy Schaffer; seven grandchildren, James (Jenny) Schaffer, Aaron (Kelly) Schaffer, Laura Schaffer, Margaret Schaffer, Jennifer Schaffer, Amanda Schaffer and Lisa Schaffer; and two precious great-granddaughters, Sophia and Indy.

Memorial Services will be held 3 PM, Saturday, June 5, 2010 in the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends Saturday prior to the service from 1:30 until 3 PM at the funeral home.
