Ms. Ames was born to the late David Duell and Susan Bischoff in Waterloo, New York. She adored her family and her ultimate goal was to have children. She fostered many children throughout the years and considered each one of them a blessing in her life. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Kassandra Stewart (Gary), Shawn Hebbard (Troy), Brittany Bennett (Brandon) and Dominick Cole; siblings, Pam Brooks (Tony), April Vandusen, David Duell and Robert Duell (Shearae); and grandchildren, Brooklyn Stewart, Isaac Stewart, Kota Hebbard and Isabel Bennett.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Columbia Road. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Monday, December 19, 2022 at the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home.
