Darryl Ray Whitt

Darryl Ray Whitt, 53, of Augusta Ga. answered Jesus' call on Tuesday, July 7th 2020. He was a loving son,brother,father and grandfather (Pops). He attended Abundant Living Word Church and much loved by his church family. He enjoyed the simple things in life. Darryl was preceded in death by his Father, Ray Earl Whitt.

Survivors include his Mother, Jane Brooks Cato; children, Katherine Whitt Kensey (Jeremy), Darryl Ray Lane (Carolyn), Sauncea Gregory, Tiara Day; sisters, Tina Whitt Graham (Scott ), Tamera Lynn Gary, Rayette Whitt Godson (Chris),and Michele Cooper; brothers, Ray Whitt Jr. (Kori) and Dallas Whitt. He had 13 grandchildren, and one on the way.

Celebration of life service will be Sunday, July 12th at 2:00 pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home 4255 Columbia Rd Martinez Ga 30907. Eulogy given by his Pastor, Carlos Quinones. In honor of Darryl, in lieu of flowers, donations to his church building fund would be appreciated. (1021 Patriots Way Augusta Ga 30807). The family will be receiving friends at the his mother's residence. Social Distancing and masks required at the service.
