Billy Richard Black Sr.

Mr. Black was born to the late Wyman and Clara Black in Augusta, GA. He retired as a truck driver throughout the southeast and enjoyed camping and Golfing in his spare time. Mr. Black was an Avid UGA fan, Braves and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Above all, he always loved his family, expressed how proud he was of them and looked forward to family gatherings.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Black is preceded in death by his siblings, Tonya Nettles, Robert Black and Melba Page. Mr. Black is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Brenda Black; children, Lisa Fehrenbach (Ken), Shannon Koch (Thomas) and Billy Richard Black Jr. (Amy); brothers, Jim Black (Beth) and Willard Black (Debra); and grandchildren, David Campbell, Brendan Albert, Barrett Albert, Reagan Black and Courtney Fehrenbach.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Friday, August 30, 2024 at the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
