Anthony "Tony" Arnold

Mr. Anthony “Tony” Arnold, 72, of Grovetown, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015. He grew up in Kingsport, TN and attended East Tennessee State University. He served valiantly in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. Following his service with the USAF, he worked as a serviceman with Georgia Natural Gas, retiring with over 20 years. Tony was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. He served as a Councilman with the City of Grovetown and on the Planning and Zoning Board. Tony was a devout Volkswagen enthusiast with a vast collection. He will be deeply missed by those he loved.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Debby Arnold; 2 sons, Warren (Becca) Arnold, Eric Arnold; two daughters, Logan (Dee) Smith and Magan (Charlie) Brissell; one brother, Larry (Carla) Arnold; one sister, Barbara (Charlie) Carey; and nine precious grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 – 8 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Saturday, November 14, 2015 in the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Pastor John Landis officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
