The focus of her life was her faith, family and friends.
She was a devout Christian woman and an active member of Abilene Baptist Church. She was involved in several ministries including church choir, benevolence and ordinance committees, serving Wednesday night suppers and a committed member of her Ladies Sunday School class. Annie was a true stay-at-home mom. She spent countless hours at the sewing machine, made education a priority for her children and made sure her family served the Lord. She created a gathering place for friends and neighbors in her home. There was always an open seat at the table, extra funds for those in need, and encouraging words for everyone.
Pallbearers will be Greg Holley, Douglas Norton, Willis Jones, Elijah LeBlanc, Darryl Holley, and Steve Perdue. Honorary Pallbearers are Bob Long, Richard Lee, Bill O'Leary, Stanley Eason, Jimmy Rogers, Cooper Cliatt, and Mike Maddox.
