Wayne Joseph Grabert passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Beloved son of Lindsey Grabert, Sr. and the late Faye Ellis Grabert. Brother of Billy Lee of Carriere, MS, Charlene Schoenberger of Plattsburg, MO, Beverly Grabert of Marrero, Susan (Tut) Carver of Waggaman, the late Brenda Lee Pitre and the late Lindsey (Bud) Grabert, Jr. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved pet Dixie and best friend, Jimbo. He was a lifelong resident of Marrero. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from Westside LEITZ-EAGAN, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Monday Afternoon, April 29, 2013 at 1:00. Visitation will be held on Sunday Evening from 6:00 until 9:00, and resuming Monday from 9:00 until service time. Interment to follow in Restlawn Cemetery, Avondale.
