Virgie Verdin Malone

Daughter of Olivia Dufrene and Noel Verdin. Loving wife of the late Robert E Malone. Preceded in death by her infant son Robbie. She leaves behind her daughters Cynthia Alleman ( Phil) Sheri Heitkemper, Diane Treadaway ( Russell), Connie Domangue ( Al) and Cate Malone ( Natalie)and her sons Wayne Malone ( Debbie) and Kenneth Malone, and her Godchild Lisa Sullivan. She is survived by her sister, Leah Martin and brother Edgar Verdin. She also leaves behind a host of much loved grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Virgie loved her family more than anything and was happiest when celebrating a birthday, holiday, or special occasion. Her passing will leave a void in her family as well as all those that loved her. We will treasure our memories with her forever. The family of Virgie would like to send a special thank you to Heart of Hospice, especially Bridgette, you are truly an angel on earth and we can’t thank you enough, as well as Dr Joplin. Special thanks to Father Kyle, for providing her with spiritual guidance.

A visitation for Virgie will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA 70072, followed by a Funeral Mass from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM. Interment will be at Restlawn Cemetery.
