Virgie Lee Ledet-Prukop

Virgie Lee Ledet-Prukop passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at the age of 79. She was the wife of the late Herbert Ledet; mother of Thomas Hebert (Joann), Carl Ledet (Vicky), Kathleen LaCour (Mark), Eddie Ledet (Sheila), and Melissa Bourgeois (Marvin); Grandmother of Laine Ledet, Carl Wilson, Mark LaCour, Eddie Ledet, Crystal Bourgeois, Adele Strong, and the late Joshua Ledet, Curtis A Bourgeois, and Chad LaCour; great grandmother of Alecia LaCour, Adrianna LaCour, Dillyn Benton, Caitlyn Wilson, and Carlee Wilson; and great great grandmother of Vera Benton; and sister of the late Eddie Richard, Ernest Richard, Victoria Gros, Corbett Richard, and Genevieve Boudreaux. She was a former employee of Sheraton International. She was a wonderful cook and loved spending time with her family. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
