Tommy “Beast” Mire passed away peacefully on October 12th, 2018 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Born on September 6, 1946 in Marrero, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, John Sylvester Mire, Sr. and Mary DiPascal and two brothers, John S. Mire, Jr. and Jerry Mire. He leaves his beloved companion and wife of 36 years Rebeccah (Becky) Knight Rhodes Mire and two daughters, Allyson Morales and Leesa Foerster, three grandchildren Julia and Natalie Morales and Anselm Foerster, his sons-in-law Clyde Morales and Thorsten Foerster. He also leaves behind his brother Robert (Bob) Mire and his wife Helen Mire, his sisters-in-law Claudette Mire and DeeDee Mire and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces and countless friends. He served in the US Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. Beast was known as a spirited Harley Davidson enthusiast and rider who lived life on his terms. He loved to ride so much that we know he will be riding for eternity. Family and friends can pay their respects at a memorial service being held on Saturday October 27, 2018 at 11:00am. A visitation will follow the memorial service from 12:00pm-2:00pm. All services will be held at at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero.
