Tom Blair Jr.

Tom Blair, Jr. passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the age of 71. He was the beloved husband of Wanda Ruttley Blair. He was the father of Dorothy Kelly, Patricia Blair Gleason (Jerry Bishop), and Tommy Joe Blair. He was the grandfather of Herman Eisner Jr., Jennifer Gleason Lewis, Brittney Eisner McCardle, and Charles Andrews, as well as 9 great grandchildren. He was the son of the late Tom Blair Sr. and Delia Mae Blair, as well as brother of the late Joe Blair. He was the brother-in-law of Patsy Ruttley Creppel (Albert), Ginny I. Ruttley and the late Leon Mitchel Ruttley. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was a native of Columbia, MS and longtime resident of the West Bank. He was a retired Marine Master Sergeant having served 22 years in the Corps.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM.
