Steven Michael Chiasson passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the age of 33. He is the son of Michael Chiasson (Deana) and Carla Deslattes (Ronnie); brother of Ryan Chiasson, Amanda Skebeck (Joseph) and Crystal Hill (Jason); grandson of Carlo and Beverly Albarado and Joan Thrash, as well as the late Dudley Chiasson; uncle of Madasyn and Emma Loria, Grace and Jason Hill Jr.; step-brother of Brad Penouilh and Kevin Penouilh; and nephew of William and Peggy Sue Chiasson; Godson of Marc Albarado (Sandra); cousin of Elaina, Emily, and Sarah Albarado. He was a heavy equipment operator for Dean Equipment, and loved drag racing. He will be dearly missed.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joachim Catholic Church, 5505 Barataria Blvd., Marrero, LA, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at the church from 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
