Shirley Lacheny

Shirley Mae Lacombe Lacheny, wife of the late Harry A. Lacheny, passed away on October 1, 2013. Loving mother of Randy (Peggy) Lacheny, Kenneth (Susan) Lacheny, Cindy Lacheny Landry & Tommy (Donna) Lacheny. Grandmother of Patricia (Norman) Waters, Michael (JoAnn) Lacheny, Raelyn (Richard) Morris, Darrel Lacheny, Lisa Lacheny, Casey (Kaniel) Battles, & Emily Cedatol. Great-Grandmother of Matthew & Amanda Waters, Tabitha & Tyler Morris, Sage & Meagan Lacheny, Manuel Cedatol, Drake Richardson, the late Mia Gonzalez and Caiden & Kelsea Battles. Also survived by and will be greatly missed by numerous relatives and friends.

Shirley was a housewife and devoted to her late husband Harry. They were married for 55 years. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Avondale where she had a food pantry built in memory of her late husband Harry. Shirley was known to many as “Maw-Maw” & “Me-Me”. By the grace of God and support of family & friends, she survived the death of her beloved husband of 55 years.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the FBC of Abondale. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to FBC of Avondale. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
