Shirley Mae Kelley passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the age of 75. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Frank J. Lucas and Elsie M. Lucas. She was married to the late William T. Kelley. Loving mother of Doddy G. Nicholas (Harry), Danny J. Guidry, the late Roy Kelley, Fanny R. Kelley, and the late Jason F. Kelley. Grandmother of Brandon Guidry, Amanda Nicholas, and Justin Nicholas and nine great grandchildren. Sister of the late Anna Mae West, Esther Freeman, Francis Lucas, Mary Jacob, the late Frank J. Lucas, Jr., Lester P. Lucas, and the late Vanessa Niles. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends that are left to cherish her memory.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, December 7th, 2024 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the service time. Shirley will be laid to rest at Westlawn Park Cemetery in Gretna, Louisiana.
