Jane Shirley Gomez, of Bridge City, Louisiana, passed away at her home with her loving family by her side, on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 2:05 pm at the age of 85. She was the daughter of the late Adam Gomez and Regina Stout Gomez and the sister of Vera Rita Gomez, Lionel Stanley Gomez, LeDonia G. Coates, Lawrence, Leo, John, Desmond Vernon, Melvin and James Gomez. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and friends and she was a second mom to too many to list. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM and again on Monday, October 22, 2012 from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM at which time a Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel.
