Rudolph "Rudie" Joseph Ledet

Rudolph “Rudie” Joseph Ledet, a resident of Belle Chasse, LA since 1963, entered into Eternal Rest on January 3, 2018, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Victoria “Vickie” Angelina Ledet. Son of the late Enes “Sam” Ledet and Audrey Dugas Ledet. Son-in-law of the late Rosalie Chimento DeSalvo. Survivors include his daughter, Mary Lynn Ledet Carraway, wife of Mark Walter Carraway, and, son of Randal Joseph Ledet, husband of Michelle Giroir Ledet. Grandfather of Peter Joseph Sanchez. Brother of the late Georgia Ledet LeBlanc, wife of the late Lee P. LeBlanc. Godfather of Sharon Smith and Cindy Horne and survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Rudie enjoyed fishing, hunting, wood crafts and traveling. Lifelong member of the Belle Chasse Council of the Knights of Columbus. Veteran Army S/SGT 1948 to 1952 stationed in German theatre. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at Westside Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, from 9 a.m – 11 a.m. A Memorial Mass will follow. Interment at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Ave., Gretna, LA.
