Ruby Lawson Vidal

Ruby Lawson Vidal of Belle Chasse, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the age of 96. She was born in Lismore, Louisiana to the late Roy and Lucille Lawson. Loving wife of the late Chester Vidal, Sr. Devoted mother of Chester Vidal, Jr. (the late Jenny) and Judy Guidry (the late Wilson). Loving grandmother of Lisa Guidry, Melinda, Tammy Vidal, Beth Vidal, Stacey Rayna, Shelly, and Travis Guidry, Sr., as well as numerous great children and great great grandchildren. Ruby is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who are left to cherish her memory.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nursing staff of Heart of Hospice, her great niece, Misty Lucas for her care and compassion, and Norma Monju for her hair services in her time of need.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 2, 2024 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the service time. Ruby will be laid to rest at Westlawn Park Cemetery in Gretna, Louisiana.
