Roy Donald Baldwin

Roy Donald Baldwin passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of the late Kathy Tron Baldwin. Father of Timothy Thai Baldwin, Ashli MyLan Baldwin, Lisa Marie Baldwin-Carr, Teddy Brian “Bubba” Baldwin, and Stephen Gregory Baldwin. Step-father of Michelle Truong Le, Scott Viet Truong, and Ricky Nam Truong. Grandfather of Jaidyn Delfosse, Joshua Carr, Jacob Carr, Jared Carr, Nicholas Baldwin, and Mallori Baldwin. Step-grandfather of Kyle Tran, Isabella MyLan Le, Jett Le, Payton Truong, Adeline Truong, and Taylor Truong. Son of the late Clemson Baldwin and Bertha Baldwin. Brother of Betty Stallings and Jackie Davis, as well as the late Carl Baldwin and Hubert Baldwin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was born and raised in South Carolina, and graduated from Clemson University with a degree in business. He was a Vice President and Regional Manager for General Mills, Vice President for Kenneth Gordon Shirt Company, as well holding a number of other responsible positions with different companies. After retirement, he helped as a part-time coach for the Phoenix High School football and basketball teams and bus driver with Plaquemines Parish School Board. He loved landscaping, fishing, traveling, helping others, and keeping up with his favorite football team, Clemson. (Go Tigers!)
