Rosa C Medina

Rosa C Medina, age 79, of Westwego, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Rosa Lara Pepitone and Alberto Carias. Devoted wife of Miguel A. Medina Sr. Loving mother of Miguel A. Medina Jr., (Elizabeth), Rosa "Nina" Shano (Mike), and Marisa Lewis (Don). Caring grandmother of Rene and Christina Keller, Drew and Erika Jones, Hannah Lewis, Quentin and Brittany Balliviero, Jesse and Kelly Rodriguez, Miguel Medina III, Savannah Medina and the late Antonio Hernandez. Great grandmother of Braysen and Camden Balliviero, Maddie "Madelina" Keller, Daxton and Drew Jones, Hadley and MaKenna Medina, and Kayliegh and Devin Rodriguez. Sister of Aleyda, Brenda, Julio, Tulio, Alberto and Richard.

She was the most wonderful Wife, Mother and Grandmother! The amount of love she had for all of us was transferred into everything she did for us, especially through her cooking, and to anyone who knew her knew this. That is what made her happy, She loved to cook and always had the ingredients for your favorite meal, all we had to do was say what we felt like eating. She was always available for whatever we needed and never said no! We’ll forever be grateful for our babies growing up in her loving arms. She loved to travel and see new places and took many trips with friends and family, she took this last journey alone, but was surrounded by all whole loved her, and we didn’t say goodbye, but see you later. We LOVE YOU ABUELA!

A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, November 28th, 2023 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. The visitation will begin at 11:00AM and will continue until the service time.
