Roland A. Savoie Sr., 76, died 15th February 2017 at his home in Harvey, LA. He is survived by his beloved wife, Janice Blackshire Savoie; his two children, Roland A. “Chuck” Savoie Jr. and Melissa Nichols (Darren); daughter-in-law Heather Savoie; grandchildren Rachel, Brooke, Nikkie, and Juolie; 3 great grandchildren; Nephew Bobby Chauvin (Sheryl); Niece Lorraine Laurent; Great niece Angelina; many good friends, and his Harley-Davidson Motorcycle. Roland was a member of the William B. White Grand Lodge #408 for over 50 years and a member of the Grand Lodge of Marrero #479. He worked for Avondale Shipyard, McDermott, and Avondale Container. He was the life of any party.
