Roberta B. La Rose

Devoted wife of the late Harold J. La Rose, Sr. of 14 years. Loving mother of Harold J. La Rose, Jr. (Lisa), Darrell J. La Rose (Annette), Keith J. La Rose (Georgette), Kim L. Brown and the late Lisa Ann La Rose.

A proud grandmother of 16 grandchildren; Harold III, Sal, Jessica, Dylan, Lauren, Christopher, Brooke, Darrell, Jr., Troy, Kacie, Brenton, Luke, Harold, Racquel, Danielle and Ashley. She had 5 great grandchildren; Jayden, Harold, Jr., Landon, Na’Vaeh and Carsyn.

Daughter of the late Alberta M. Guidry Blouin and Tracy J. Blouin. Sister of Theresa B. Kimble (Dale), Rita B. Olivier (the late Joe), Victor Blouin (Ruth), and the late Tracy Blouin, Jr. (Linda).

Roberta is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Age 71, a native of New Orleans, LA and a lifelong resident of Marrero.

Roberta enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at home cooking, playing bingo, cards, running football pools at Wynhoven, and just enjoying life. Roberta was a member of the Wynhoven Scooter Crew. The family would like to thank the staff of Wynhoven Retirement Home and the nurses in the CCU unit at West Jefferson for their compassionate care.
