Beloved husband of the late Mary Wilson Baer. Father of Steven Baer and Robert “Bobby” Baer. Stepfather of Robert, Marilyn, Rose, Kathy, Eddie, and David. Son of the late Helen Riquard Baer and Gifford Baer, Sr. Brother of Mrs. Margie Dobbins, Gifford S. (Bubba) Baer, Jr., James A. Baer, Sr., and Mrs. Janice Grendahl. Grandfather of Sabrina, Anna, Brandy, Kelly, Daniel, Amy, Ramond, Lloyd, Christina, Taylor, Dray, Keith, Brent, Chad, and Danille. Great-grandfather of Chaz, Bryce, Ronald, Brianna, Lon, Skylar, Dakota, Chad, and Chase. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
