Mr. Raymond Martin Larmeu

Raymond Martin Larmeu passed away peacefully in his home on Friday Afternoon, February 28, 2014. He was 85 years old. Beloved husband of Mary McCrary Larmeu of 39 years. Father of Larry Larmeu (Jinine), Lori Larmeu Cannon, Terry Junek (Perry), and Mary Bourque. Step-father of Debbie Bravender and Susan Schafer. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 1 step great-grandchild. Brother of Jerry Larmeu, Edward Larmeu, and the late Joe Larmeu and Paul Larmeu. Preceded in death by his grandson, Brandon Cotten, and also his parents, Eddie and Philomene Larmeu. He was a native and lifelong resident of the New Orleans Area. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, a member of the American Legion Post #307, and a 32nd Decree Mason. He retired from Bellsouth after 35 years of service. His favorite times were spent at his beloved fishing camp in Port Sulphur. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass from Westside LEITZ-EAGAN, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Saturday Morning, March 8, 2014 at 11:00.
