Rafael Rosales

He is preceded in death by his parents Marcos and Juana Rosales, his two brothers; Basilio Rosales and Rigoberto Rosales, and his granddaughter Leslie.

Rafael is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Gladys Pasqual Rosales. He is also survived by his 7 children; Marcos Rosales (Maribel), Miguel Rosales, Rafael Rosales, Ileana Rosales Adams (Michael), David Rosales, Deborah Rosales Batista (Rodolfo), and Veronica Rosales Patterson (Joseph), his 13 grandchildren; Ana, Jackie, Marcos Jr., Johnathan, Marie, Jennifer, Miguel Jr., Rafael III, Jessica, Carlos, Tiffany, Christopher, and Maria, along with his 23 great-grandchildren, and his sister; Magaly Rosales.

Rafael came to the United States from Cuba on December 24, 1971 with his wife and 7 young children by his side. He was a strong willed man with strong faith and always done whatever needed to be done to provide for his family, all while making sure to live life to the fullest. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Services for Rafael are being held at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral home located at 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday January 23, 2021 beginning at 3 PM, followed by a prayer service in the chapel at 5 PM.
