Pearl Marie Dupre

Pearl Marie Dufrene Dupre passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at the age of 67. She was the beloved wife of the late Talbert Joseph Dupre, Sr. for over 44 years. They were long time residents of Westwego.

She is survived by her sons; Talbert "TJ" Dupre Jr. (Tanis), and Mitchell Dupre (Mindy); five grandchildren; Caitlynn Dupre, Hannah Dupre, Hunter Dupre, Gary Gillette (Cameron), Hayli Erwin (Matt); her four great grandchildren, Jake Erwin, Preston Erwin, Rain Lasyone, and Wyatt Erwin; her sister, Betty Wade (Robert); and a host of other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Edith Dufrene; her sisters, Mary Dufrene (the late Ettienne), Martha Carmadelle (the late Weldon), and Jeanette Long (the late Vernon).

She was a homemaker for the majority of her adult life, devoting herself to her husband and family. She was employed by Louisiana Newpack Shrimp Co. for several years.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM.
