Patricia Mary Foret

Patricia “Pat” Mary Foret, passed peacefully of natural causes, to meet her loving father on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at the age of 81. She was greeted by her devoted husband of 60 years, Wallace “Buster” Foret, along with her furry companions, Ebony and Kay-Cee. She is survived by her pride and joy, her children, Lisa McWhorter (David), Dana Kollatt, Kim Walton (Hermon III), and Dale Foret (Fiancé, Bonnie Pecot). She also leaves behind her precious, “Angels”, “Sweetie Pies”, and “Monkies”, Allyson and Brindley McWhorter, Robbie (Rebecca) and Paige Kollatt, and Hermon IV and Blake Walton. She is also survived by her two beautiful great-grandsons, Cooper and Cohen Kollatt. Pat was the daughter of the late Lena Cusimano Orgeron and Emile (Joseph) Blank, and sister of the late Gerald “Jerry” Blank, the late Ronald “Ronnie” Orgeron, and Joann Orgeron Kole.

Pat was a native of Marrero, LA and a life-long resident of Belle Chasse, LA. After retirement, the things Pat loved the most was spending time with her family and especially looked forward to crawfish boils and BBQ’s. Pat adored her family and devoted her whole life to them. She will be remembered most for her goofy sense of humor, which sparks many fun family memories. She will be truly missed by all of the ones that knew and loved her.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the nurses and doctors of Ochsner Gretna ICU for their compassionate care of Mrs. Pat during her time there, as well as Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home for all of their help during this difficult time.

Relative and Friends are invited to attend a visitation in honor of Patricia’s life on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 10 AM until The Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 1 PM at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home located at 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero.
