Odette Hebert

Odette L. Hebert entered into eternal rest on October 15, 2010 at the age of 85.

She was born in Lockport, LA and was a resident of Westwego, LA for the past 49 years.

Beloved wife of the late Melvin Paul Hebert, Sr.

Daughter of the late Matilda Griffin Loup and Ozema Loup.

Mother of Odette M. Hebert, Betty Hebert, Jack Hebert, Jimmie Hebert, and the late Raymond Hebert and Melvin Hebert, Jr.

Mother in law of Patsy, Brenda, Lillian, and Rosemary

Grandmother of Michael Hebert (Karen), Michele Griffin (Larry), Melanie Hall (Keith), Matthew Hebert Sr., Ryan Hebert (Melissa), Lisa and Jason Guilbeau.

Step Grandmother of Val Glaz, Sr. and Jackie Ann Nicolosa.

Also survived by 15 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Relatives and friends of the family, as well as members of the Westwego Ernest Tassin Senior Center and Employees of Loops Cleaners and T & T Cleaners of Harvey, LA are invited to attend the funeral services from WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, MARRERO on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Interment will follow will follow in Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna.
