Noel Nancy Dantin

Noel Nancy Dantin passed away peacefully in her home, Alexander Milne Developmental Services, on April 22, 2023, at the age of 71. She was born on December 16, 1951 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Clarence "Peanut" and Genevieve Guarino Dantin, Jr.. Noel is survived by her loving sister Anna "Susie" Dantin Theriot (Howard), Nephew Christopher Theriot (Lori), Great niece, Juliette Marie Theriot, cousins Celeste Mille' (John), Kathy Barnadas, Benjamin Ladouceur (Mayra), Matthew Ladouceur, Lester Barnadas, Jr. as well as other extended family and dear friends. Noel was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and aunts Marie Dantin Cancienne (the late Sydney) and Beatrice Dantin Barbier (the late Reynold).

Noel loved watching the New Orleans Saints and Alabama football. She enjoyed trips to Disney and to the casino, watching Young & The Restless and visiting her niece and nephew. She never met a stranger and never forgot a face. Noel participated in the Special Olympics and the Miracle League in Covington. She was the Queen of the Krewe of Milne.

Noel was a resident of Alexander Milne Services for almost 30 years. She had a special bond with every employee. When Noel would go on a trip to visit her family in Alabama, she was always ready to get back to the girls. The family would like to send a special thank you to all of the staff at Alexander Milne Developmental Services and St. Tammany Parish Hospital for all of their love and care given to Noel through the years.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Friday, May 12, 2023 beginning at 9:00am at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero. Memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM immediately followed by the interment at St. Bartholomew Cemetery in Algiers.
