Mary Cavallo Hebert passed away surrounded by loved ones at her home on Friday, November 8, 2024. Beloved wife of 63 years of the late Woodrow Joseph Hebert. Loving mother of Ronald J. Hebert (Gennie); David J. Hebert (Elaine); Allen J. Hebert and Ann Hebert Guidry. Adored grandmother of Melinda Hebert Bazzelle, Jennifer Hebert Stowe, Erin Hebert Cancienne, Justin Guidry, Melissa Guidry Landry, Cory Daigle, and Robert Allen, Jr., Matthew, Danielle, and Anastacia Hebert. Great-grandmother of Alec and Sophia Bazzelle; Caitlin and Taylor Stowe; Lily, Dominic and Emma Cancienne; Sutton and Sloan Guidry; Daniel Meyer; Jeremiah Tanner; Raiden Patureau; Carmen and Rowan Daigle; Cairo, Santino, Evangelina and Quest Derokey; and Ripley Madeleine, Jordan and Emily Hebert. Great-great grandmother of Charlee Bazzelle.

Daughter of the late Tom G. Cavallo and Lena A. Cavallo. Sister to Victor J. Cavallo and Loretta Cavallo Weaver and the late Lena Cavallo Richard, Doris Cavallo Estopinal, Frank J. Cavallo, Sr., Thomas J. Cavallo, and Rosalie Cavallo Allemond.

Born in Independence, LA, Mary spent the majority of her 101 years in Marrero with devoted friends and family. She will be missed dearly.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation 8:30AM on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home chapel at 11:00AM. Interment will be held at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna.
