Mary “Mei Mei” Victoria Bauer Dufresne entered peacefully into heaven on Monday, January 2, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife of the late Isaac Joseph Dufresne for over 30 years. Loving mother of Leontine “Tina” Dufresne Lang and Dean Joseph Dufresne (Mary). A proud grandmother of Aaron Joseph Lang and Megan Richelle Dufresne. Daughter of the late Rose Rancatore Bauer and Walter E. Bauer. Survived by her brother, Walter Bauer. “Mei Mei” is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, extended family, other relatives and friends.
“Mei Mei” was a homemaker who took care of everyone in the family. She enjoyed cooking, yard work, loved pets, and mostly have friends over for coffee.
Age 91, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of the Greater New Orleans area.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy., Marrero, Louisiana at 11:00 am.
