Born on March 15, 1956, Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Thelma Ruth and Andrew George Wiebelt, Jr. Residing on the Westbank for 23 years, Mark is originally from New Orleans, where he graduated from Redemptorist High School. This is where his passion for music, particularly drumming, bloomed. While always modest of his talent, those closest to him always admired his virtuosity.
Mark leaves behind his best friend and wife of 34 years Darlene Wiebelt, as well as his daughter Shannon Loyd, grandchildren Haylie and Elijah Loyd, and his brother Andrew Wiebelt III (Susan). Mark also leaves behind his niece Becky, his nephew Christopher, and his dear friend Nelson Zavala.
Mark will be interred at Lakelawn Cemetery following an intimate service.
