Marilyn "Gee" Ann Girard

Marilyn “Gee” Ann Girard left us at 3:00 PM on August 22, 2014, she is survived by her brothers Louis Girard (wife Linda), Gary Girard (wife Ismae) and sister Darlene Girard Dehner (husband Ray), Nephews R. Scott Dehner (wife Shelly), Matthew Dehner, Thomas Lambert (wife Donielle) and Clarence Lambert. Great nieces and nephews: Madeleine Dehner, Karisa Lambert, Taelyn Lambert, Trafton Dehner, Colton Dehner and Nicholas Weaver.

Proceeded in death by her lifelong partner Patricia Pertuit Farleigh, Parents Louis C. Girard and Esther Parks Girard Ordoyne, step-father Charles “Joe” Ordoyne. She worked for A to Z Paper Company and State Farm Insurance Company in Luling, LA. and member of the Bridge City Volunteer Fire Co. #1 Support Group.

“Gee” retired after many years of working; she enjoyed her sports, fishing but she cherished the time spent with her nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A special thanks to her friend, Odette Hebert who helped her so much these past months.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations made in her honor to the Bridge City Volunteer Fire Co. #1 Support Group, P. O. Box 9056, Bridge City, LA 70094.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy. Marrero, LA on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Visitation on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, 8:30 AM until Mass time. Interment in St. Louis #3, New Orleans, LA.
