Margaret June Meyer passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 6, 2018 at the age of 93. Born in New Orleans on June 27, 1924 to the late Hans and Margaret Rogde. Margaret Meyer was a life-long New Orleanian who loved to garden. The former Queen of the Midcity Krewe is survived by her good friends Earl and Joyce Hernandez; and nephews, Daniel & Donald Rogde. Margaret is preceded in death by her late husband Leslie Meyer; and brother, Miles E. Rogde. Funeral services will be held at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home located at 5101 Westbank Expy in Marrero, Louisiana. A funeral mass will be held from 12:00p-1:00p on Thursday, February 15, 2018 with a visitation the same day from 9:00am-12:00pm. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery No. 3
