Linda Dicharry Matrana "Cricket" passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on September 30, 2022 at the age of 77. Linda was the daughter of the late Herbert and Rose Dicharry. Mother of Larry Matrana, Jr. (Liz) and Chris Matrana Sr. (Jenni). Grandmother of Felix Matrana (Sarah) and C.J. Matrana, Jr (Taylor), Laura and Bryce. Great-grandmother of Eden, Paisleigh Rose and Draven. Sister of Herbert Dicharry, Jr. (Stella). Companion of Arthur Falgout, Sr. Ex-wife of the late Larry Matrana, Sr.
Linda was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Harvey, Louisiana for the past 52 years. She worked as a teacher's assistant for the Jefferson Parish School system.
Friends and family are invited to the visitation on Thursday, October 6, 2022 beginning at 9:00 AM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30 AM and burial will follow at Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans.
