Linda Josephine Frickey

Linda Josephine Frickey, age 73, of Westwego, Louisiana passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022. Linda was born November 22, 1948. She was the beloved wife of Rickey Frickey for over 36 years. She was the mother of Darrell Dufrene and Randy Frickey. Grandmother of Chance, Drake, Brock, and her Princess Prudence. Daughter of the late Freddie and Mathilda Daigle. Sister of Vernell Kellerman, Solida Rotolo, Sandra Duffourc (Daniel), Darline Barraza (Humberto), and Jinnylynn Griffin (Darren), as well as the late Freddie Joseph Daigle. Sister-in-law of Billy Frickey, Viola Falgout, Merlin Frickey Sr., Curtis Frickey (Chris), and Kathy Richard (Chep). She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Linda was an agent for Security Plan Life Insurance for 28 years, and she was dedicated to the families she served, who quickly became friends. Linda could go nowhere without either bumping into someone she knew, or making a new friend. She was also a licensed cosmetologist, thought mostly she only practiced on family and friends. She enjoyed shopping, especially with her Princess Prudence. She also loved spending time with her family, especially the weekly meeting of her sisters which was affectionately known as "The Hen Party."

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin on Sunday, March 27 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and continue on Monday from 9:00 AM until the Mass. Interment will follow in Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale.
