Lillian Maryann (Fontana) Scioneaux

Lillian Maryann (Fontana) Scioneaux, age 90, of Gretna, Louisiana passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022. Lillian was born December 27, 1931. She was the beloved wife of the late Earl A. Scioneaux. Mother of Pamela Tapie, Earl Scioneaux Jr. (Kathy), Peter Scioneaux, and the late Deborah Neff. Grandmother of Christopher Tapie (Mindi), Corie Tapie, Shelby Strong (Ricky), and Sara Scioneaux. Great grandmother (sugar baby) of Blake Tapie, Jax Tapie, Remy Strong, and Jules Tapie. Daughter of the late Charles "Kelly" and Josephine Fontana. Sister of the late Arnold Fontana Sr. She is also survived by her best buddy, Delia Williams; her granddogs Bleu, Gabe, and Hershey; as well as other relatives and friends.

She was a long time employee of the Jefferson Parish Clerk of Court Office, and also worked for the Westbank Guide. She will be remembered for her strength of character and her immaculately clean home. She loved spending time with family and occasional trips to the casino.

The family would like to thank Azalea Assisted Living, Woldenberg Living Center, and Hospice Compassus for the wonderful care and companionship in her last days. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin 9:00 AM.
