Letizia Montagnino Raimondo

Letizia Montagnino Raimondo entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. Born in Alia, Sicily, Italy on May 12, 1945 to the late Pietro and Angela Montagnino. Beloved wife of 59 years to Stefano Raimondo. Loving mother of Josephine Raimondo, Angela Raimondo Culberson (the late Jarrod), and Stefano Raimondo, Jr. Devoted grandmother of Luca Wyatt Culberson and Rebecca Lynn Culberson. Sister of Maria Teresa Albergamo, Francesca Miserendino, and the late Loreta Montagnino Miceli, Giuseppina Montagnino Gibiino, Loreto Montagnino, and Antonino Montagnino. Godmother of Maria Miserendino, Antonino Montagnino, Jr., Giovanna LaRocca, and Giuseppina Arceneaux. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. A longtime resident of Marrero. Letizia was a loving and caring person. She will be deeply missed.

A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 10:30AM on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 610 6th Street in Gretna, Louisiana. The visitation will begin at 9:00AM at the church and continue until the Mass time. Letizia will be laid to rest following the Mass at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna, Louisiana.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Children's Hospital of New Orleans.
