Leslie Chenevert Linder

Leslie Chenevert Linder, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents Howard and Sallie (Harris) Chenevert, siblings: Robert Chenevert, Howard Chenevert Jr., Glen Paul Chenevert. She was the mother to Micheal Linder, Michael Linder Jr., and Matthew Linder. Grandmother of Benjamin Linder.

Known for her willingness to help and heal people, she was dedicated to education and the nursing profession. Leslie had completed her RN at Nicholls State University, a Masters degree in Nursing from Loyola University and was in an internship as a Doctor of Nursing Practice. She held many roles in nursing throughout her career, most recently in wound care where she worked as a mentor and team manager. She was also a member of many nursing organizations.

Leslie will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Leslie's family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not by the sadness of her passing. She is survived by Micheal Linder, Michael Linder Jr. (Nicole), Matthew Linder, Benjamin Linder, Donna Brown, Guy Chenevert, Ian Chenevert and his children, Karen McNeil (dear friend) and many other friends. She also leaves behind the family pets she visited and cared for frequently: Zeus, Monty, Simon, and Atticus.

She loved Christmas and leaves behind her collection of Nutcrackers. She also loved to read and enjoyed learning about history, particularly the Renaissance and Egypt. She also enjoyed baking and crafting. One of her biggest joys, however, was giving to others. She loved to spoil her loved ones, especially the children.

A Catholic Service will be held for Ms. Linder on Saturday, May 10, 2025 beginning at 1:00PM at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, with Visitation to follow until 4:00PM.
