Capt. Keith Allen Potter

Cpt. Keith Allen Potter passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2013. He was 54 years of age. Father of Jason Keith Potter (wife, Christina), Jacob Lee Potter, and River Allen Potter. Grandfather of Promise, Hannah, Jacob, Faith, and Holly. Son of Mary Branch Potter and the late Talmage Lee Potter. Brother of Donald Lee Potter (wife, Cathy), Tommy Lee Adair (wife, Jenene), and Tammy Lynn Potter Switzer (husband, Theo). He was a native of Marked Tree, Arkansas, and a resident of Luling, Louisiana and Winfield, Alabama. He was a River Boat Captain for over 30 years and he was sad when he retired. He was so proud when his son, Jason Keith Potter, became a River Boat Captain also. He said that, that is the part of him that will live on the river forever. His sons, Jason, Jacob and River, will have his heart forever. He will be truly missed by his mother, Mary Nell, and family. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service from Westside Leitz-Eagan, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Tuesday Evening, November 26, 2013 at 5:00.
