June "Mama Junnie" Marie Williamson Powell

June (Mama Junnie) Marie Williamson Powell passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and loved ones on June 8,2015, at the age of 83. A native and lifelong resident of Belle Chasse. Beloved daughter of the late Irvin P. Williamson and the late Vivian Bailey Williamson and the late Hannah Glenn Williamson. Devoted Mother to Robert Jean Powell Chestnutt (Willie H.), Barbara Isidore (Blaise, Sr.), Janice Washington, Farrell Williamson Jr. (Terry), Hannah P. Trufant (Ferdinand), Michael A. Powell Sr. (Terriyaki), Dwight Williamson Sr., Charles Williamson (Yolanda), Lisa P. Quijano (Carl), Lois Powell and the late Robert Jr. and Alfred Christopher Powell and Richard Williamson: Sister of Irvin P.Williamson, Sr. and the late Farrell J. Williamson, Sr. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, Devoted Friend Annie Belle Boyer and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and Friends of the family, also employees of JPPSS, JPSO, LSPPS, PPSB, Plaquemines Parish Government, Willbros Engineers, Westside Missionary Baptist Association, Christian Ministers Missionary Baptist Association, Members of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Bethlehem Baptist Church 111 and all neighboring Churches are invited to attend the homegoing celebration services at Rock of Ages Baptist Church 6533 Acre Rd.
